Synopsis
Pamela Mason wants to find someone who she can be sure loves her for herself and not her inheritance which she will receive in September. She meets Martin Shaw and romance ensues. He proposes telling her that he wants to wait until September. Pamela thinks he just wants her inheritance and turns him down. She starts dating old friend Herb Nelson. She gets a job as a sketch artist. She runs into Marty and finds out he was receiving a fellowship in Rome in September. It's been a huge misunderstanding and all ends well.

Synopsis
Country girl Sue comes to the city and becomes a model. Sue meets hunk Jerry and falls in love but he gets drafted. Sue gets no mail and visits his mom. Mom tells her he married old girlfriend. Sue changes to Suzette and meets socialite Drake. Drake falls in love but she can't marry him. Sue walks on the beach and sees Jerry who was blinded during the war. His marriage was a ruse so she would not be saddled with a blind man.
