Notes

Most probable Whitman. Face of Firehair in profile and figure match his art in Jungle Comics #132, and eyes of the indian, and also the horses. He is credited on covers for Fiction House by Jerry Bails' Who's Who.

Synopsis

During a woman ceremony in the Dakota village, all the braves are away, and a Piute war party is out to raid Dakota maidens.

Notes

title from cover

Originally credited "Bob Lubbers?", but not his faces or figures. Compare with his stories in Firehair #11. Webb and Disbrow are credited on this feature by Jerry Bails' Who's Who, and the close up face on page 4 is by Disbrow. Most probably him as inker and Webb as penciller.

Script credit suggested by the Who's Who.

Synopsis

Sneed, a crooked sheriff, has a man killed when he wouldn't sign papers turning over his mine to him. Now the partner of the killed man is framed for the murder, and Firehair must save him from lynching.
