- Printed in
- Agonizing Love (HarperCollins, 2011 series) #[nn] (2011)
Synopsis
Estelle and Tom fall in love, but her parents object because he goes a different church than they do. To please them, she breaks up with Tom and dates Harry, a member of their church. Estelle’s brother returns from Korea, a wounded veteran, and introduces Charlie as the soldier who saved his life. Charlie turns out to be a childhood friend of Tom and a member of his church. Estelle’s mother realises the error of her ways and blesses Tom and Estelle’s romance.
Notes
This story only uses the word "church" and "beliefs," not "religion." There is no hint whatsoever about the differences between Estelle's "church" and Tom's "church," such as Protestant vs. Catholic, Jew vs. Christian, or even a particular Protestant denomination vs. a different one.
