Synopsis
Estelle and Tom fall in love, but her parents object because he goes a different church than they do. To please them, she breaks up with Tom and dates Harry, a member of their church. Estelle’s brother returns from Korea, a wounded veteran, and introduces Charlie as the soldier who saved his life. Charlie turns out to be a childhood friend of Tom and a member of his church. Estelle’s mother realises the error of her ways and blesses Tom and Estelle’s romance.

Synopsis
Sheryl lives with her impoverished artist uncle Carl. She steals some of his paintings and sells them to unscrupulous art dealer Mel. Mel gives her a job and Sheryl adopts his dodgy business practices. Mel sends her to a Pacific island where artist Brian lives. Brian and Sheryl fall in love and he gives her several paintings, but when he learns she’s sent them to Mel, Brian destroys his portrait of Sheryl and breaks up with her. Sheryl agrees to marry Mel if he returns the paintings, but he welshes on the deal. Sheryl returns to Brian’s island and they are reunited.

Synopsis

One night, Jimmy’s car hits an old man; Nancy takes the blame and is suspended from acting for two years. She discovers Jimmy is romancing his new co-star. Nancy returns to Hoboken, New Jersey. Studio boss Bill says the accident victim identified Jimmy as the driver, so she can come back to work. Bill also says he loves her.
