Synopsis

Acres confronts Beals about the way he manages her money. Beals is outraged that Tracy has told Acres that he's been cheating her. Beals is taken to jail, but Acres bails him out. Acres begins her promotional stunt at the drive-in movie theater. Beals devises a scheme to get even with Tracy by drugging him and setting up a death-trap that involves a house fan with sharpened blades.

Synopsis

Knocked unconscious by drugged milk, Tracy lies helplessly while Heels Beals positions a fan with razor-sharp blades near Tracy and rigs it to eventually fall on Tracy and slice him to ribbons. Beals also uses Tracy's typewriter and writes a letter to the chief, saying that Tracy will be out of town for the next two days. Tracy's friends are surprised because Tracy was scheduled to be the chef at B. O. Plenty's anniversary barbecue.

Synopsis

Acres goes to Heels' hotel room and finds him laughing insanely about the trap he set for Dick Tracy. Acres forces Beals into a cab with her, and they head for Tracy's apartment. Even as they travel, Pat and The Chief make it to Tracy's apartment in time to save him from the razor-sharp fan blades. On the way to the apartment, Beels stabs the driver with a hatpin he's taken from Acres. The driver crashes. Acres is only slightly injured, but the driver is seriously injured. Beals flees the scene and searches for a hiding place.
