Notes

Originally four separate episodes, these stories have been combined to form a single sequence:

World's Finest Comics #279: The Hawkman logo has been removed from the first page of this reprint.

World's Finest Comics #280: The first page, including logo, title and credits, has been removed to merge the two stories. The final two pages have been slightly reduced and cropped to combine them into a single page.

World's Finest Comics #281: The first page, including title and logos, has been removed from this reprint. The heading 'Epilogue' on the final page has been retained and appears to relate to all the remaining pages from the final sequence.

World's Finest Comics #282: The first two pages have been slightly reduced and cropped to combine them, with the Hawkman logo and story title removed.

Notes

This issue does not include the team-up story 'Assault on Thanagar!' from World's Finest Comics #278 (April 1982), which forms an integral part of the search for Hawkwoman storyline. At the end of 'I Have My Wings and I must Fly!' Hawkman arrives at the JLA satellite and states to Superman and Batman 'Gentlemen, I have need of your abilities!' On the next page, Superman and Batman depart offering Hawkman a lift back to Earth from Thanagar.
