Synopsis

To earn more money so she can marry Mitch sooner, Sue goes to work as a secretary for a new company. Mitch is also hired as a saleman but becomes suspicious. Sue discovers the owners are crooks but refrains from telling Mitch because the money is good. Mitch, Sue and an honest buyer are captured by the criminals. Sue risks her life to escape and bring help. She and Mitch reconcile.

Synopsis

Synopsis

Lonely Myra helps George after he’s beaten up and robbed by some thugs. She loans him money because he’s waiting on a “big deal” to come through. Myra falls in love with George even though he’s very mysterious about himself. George says he urgently needs $700 to close the deal and convinces Myra to “borrow” the cash from her job. After several days, Myra tracks him down and George confesses he lost the money at the race track and doesn’t love Myra. Myra’s theft is discovered but her boss says he won't prosecute: “your own conscience will be a far worse prison than man could devise.”
