Synopsis
Nurse Mary visits Alan’s clinic in a rural area of the South. They fall in love and when his assistant leaves, Mary takes her place. However, he refuses to consider leaving the clinic to become a “wealthy, prominent, Park Avenue specialist,” so she decides to “destroy Alan’s childish ideals” by sabotaging the clinic so Alan will be fired. Alan learns of her plot and is angry. When a hurricane strikes in Alan’s absence, Mary does heroic work and reconciles with Alan.

Synopsis
Carla works at a resort hotel but constantly complains about how the employees are treated. She dates guest Brad, and they fall in love. While on duty, Carla rudely refuses to take a telephone message. They later learn it harmed Brad’s sales business, so he breaks up with her. She is also fired. Carla finds Brad’s client and confesses that she was to blame, so Brad gets the order. Brad and Carla reconcile.
